Field – Beyond Fiction Animation 1Posted: February 11, 2015
Before making my animation, which would going to be done by using cut out components, I had to first create all the many, many possible postions and angles the fox may be in in preparation for the animation. I also drew a number of backgrounds in simple lineart.
(These are just some of the little fox parts I drew ready to be cut out for animation)
Although these took a long time, I found that by drawing digitally, I was able to create a lot more in a short amount of time than I would with traditional drawing. What I found especially useful, was the fact that I could keep everything to size, and re-size it if needed – plus I could flip things such as the way the fox was facing with ease. I printed off all the drawings I did with a flipped version as well, just encase I needed them.
